I am afraid of plastic Easter eggs.
This does not stem from some childhood trauma involving a egg hunt stampede, but is a new fear induced by parenthood.
It started out simply enough. I saw the bag of eggs on sale at Target, thought they would be fun for Isaac to open for Easter. Then I thought I would wash the eggs before I put food in them. Then I worried that they might not be made of BPA free plastic, which I couldn't wash away. Then I thought about the lead content. Then I thought
"OH MY GOD, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME?!?"

Dog toy
No matter what toys Isaac brought her she just didn't want to play. Maybe if he had a steak in his toy box...
Leo sees him as more as a pillow that a play thing. I'd like to think this was some sort of protection instinct, but pretty sure he was just a warm thing to snuggle with.
