I took and edited this photo with my iPhone. I love technology. However, sometimes my feelings of astonishment at what I can do with it makes me feel old. I am sure that using a phone to take and edit a photo (that actually looks cool) would not even slightly impress a teenager these days. They probably would be annoyed that they couldn't use their phone to post it to this blog (I know because I tried).

And the first thing he does is try to drive off the edge.

If his mom was going to sleep in, Isaac decided to get his own dang breakfast

(I guess I should be happy he didn't notice the Valentine's Day candy on the counter)

First official haircut and randomness

I didn't think his hair looked that bad. OK it was getting shaggy in back and looked a little ragged by his ear where I tried to trim it. (he chose the shiny black car with colored flames)

In a few minutes under the clippers, some wisps of hair falling to the floor and Isaac keeping his hands firmly on the wheel...

...my baby now looks like a little boy.

I didn't realize he needed a haircut until he got one.

If DNA has anything to do with it, this my contribution to his genes:

On a totally unrelated note even if wash your dog with Pantene (conditioner too) they still smell like wet dog.
